I cut a large opening in the front of this lovely distressed floral trunk and turned it into an elegant theatre. The walls are a burgundy fabric, accentuated with wood trim in a dark golden teak stain, matching the wooden floorboards on the stage. The back wall has an alcove cut out where a private theatre viewing box has been constructed and placed. The walls of the box are lined with burgundy velvet, golden teak trim and floorboards added, along with two pink 12V tulip shaped wall lights. There is a gorgeous columned balcony backdrop on the rear wall and completing the box is a pretty balcony stained in the same colour. On the stage is a rotating burgundy velvet platform for the performers. A viewing area on the left is seperated from the stage by teak railings and the same railings are being used on the right where a lovely teak organ can be found. The battery compartment for the wall lights is hidden behind the removeable wooden panel at the top. The ceilimg is also burgundy with a large ornate wooden ceiling rose from which hangs a battery operated LED chandelier. The trunk itself has a lovely painted floral lid.
