dolls to recline with a
favourite book than this
beautiful book nook.
A bookshelf stands on
either side of a recessed
arched window which has
a floral design etched into the glass.
In front of the window is a little seat topped with a mint green
cushion and a matching back pillow , both edged with mint green
trim.
Wooden rope trim, bead trim and a wooden pelmet trim decorate
the piece.
The whole piece is painted in mint green and the walls of the
bookshelves and bay window are covered in a green and gold floral
wallpaper. There is also
a matching piece
below the seat.
The book nook
measures 33.5 cm l,
25.5 cm h and 4.5 cm
d.
The shelves are ready
for you to fill but I have
started off your
collection with around 20 assorted books. I have also made a
pair of flower pots, painted in the same mint green with solid
brass base and holding green and peach paper roses.
A rose shaped battery operated wall lamp illuminates both
sides of the book shelf.
A large dark green and gold floor rug makes for a perfect
place to sprawl out and read.
A matching ladder with brass hooks and feet reaches the uppermost shelves.
